After being given a sentence of "D/Life" at Gloucester in 1814, Thomas arrived Sydney the following year aboard the "Baring". [1]

Sentenced to death for horse stealing, commuted to life transportation. Arrived via "Baring" 1815. Publican in Sussex St Sydney in 1835, later landholder and publican at Mangrove Creek.
