Research notes

No birth or death records have been found for Nathaniel Watson. He is believed to have been a descendant of John Watson possibly via his son Jeremiah Watson although there is not enough evidence to be certain of this.

The first witness to sign his wedding record was Jonathan Watson. Was this his father? No other trace of him has been found, except that he may have published a pamphlet by John Watson and John Burnyeat http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~irlcar2/Carlow_1688.htm
