Biography

Christina Watson died young.

Christina was born in 1849. She was the daughter of David Watson and Agnes Gibson.

Christina drowned when the steamer Montreal burned and sank off Cap-Rouge, Quebec on 26 June 1857. Her sister Elizabeth and mother Agnes also perished in the disaster.^[1]

She is buried in the Mount Hermon Cemetery in Quebec City with her sister Elizabeth and their mother. The burial register gives her age incorrectly as 36.^[2]
