Research Note

I am putting together additional source notes. I have suspected for a few months that John Weaver and John Adam Weaver were the same person. In multiple places I have John and John Adam with the same birth date. Adam was christen 4 months later in 1758, but no Christening for John. There is some confusion about death dates. 1826 or 1833. Adam shows up in Pennsylvania, but John shows up in Ohio. We know Adam went to Ohio during the St. John's Church, Pine Grove, Pennsylvania migration to Montgomery County, Ohio.

German Names are a problem with research. All the male children could have the first name of Johann/John, the second name is usually the perferted name. Lots of records/sources and family trees commingle the sons of Johann Enoch Weber/Weaver. Adam, Jacob, Peter all have the first name of Johann/John.

This is one of those rabbit holes, I can never seem to get out of. (Tim Weaver 3/31/2020)

Is it possible the sons of Enoch Weber/Weaver John Weaver and John Adam Weaver are the same person. The records I have been researching find John Weaver buried in Ellington Cemetery in Montgomery Co, Ohio. Catherine Long Weaver is also buried there.

Research shows John Adam Weaver married in Anna Maria Long.

Several records have John and John Adam sharing the same birth date.

It's a rabbit hole that I can't seem to get out of:)
