Frances (Wedd) Penny was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

Frances Enfield Wedd was born on 27 Nov 1886 at Mount Barker in the Province of South Australia, daughter of John Wedd and Elizabeth Sisson ^[1].

Frances married John Francis Penny (1883-1974) on 20 Jun 1911 at the Methodist Manse in Nairne, South Australia. ^[2]

Frances and John had three children:

• Barbara Frances: born 1913 in Port Pirie;^[3]
• Joan Frances: born 1917 in Solomontown;^[4]
• Isabel Frances: born 1919 in Solomontown.^[5]

Frances died on 14 Jan 1928 at Nairne in South Australia, and buried at the Port Pirie Cemetery on 16 Jan 1928 ^{[6] [7]}.
