He was the son of James Weems and Sarah Isaac. [2] He died in Charles County MD in 1821. [3]
Ordination
Rev. Jno. Weems was ord. Deacon by Bp. White, June 24, 1787. He was the rector of Port Tobacco Parish in Charles County MD. George Washington often attended services in Rev. Weems parish since it was directly across the river from Mt. Vernon.
