Biography

Sarah Welles was born in Glastonbury, Connecticut, on March 27, 1727, the daughter of Thomas Welles and Martha Pitkin. ^{[1] [2] [3] [4]}

On January 16, 1744-5, she married Col. Solomon Welles. ^{[2] [5]}

Sarah (Welles) Welles died in Wethersfield, Connecticut, on February 14, 1814 (1815? "Mathews"). She was buried at the Wethersfield Village Cemetery in Wethersfield. ^{[2] [3]}
