Alice Whipple was born in Rhode Island on June 3, 1675, daughter of Eleazer Whipple and Alice Angel, formerly of Dorchester, Massachusetts. [1]
Alice married Joseph Mowry at Providence, Rhode Island on June 3, 1695. [2] Her husband Joseph, called Captain Joseph, son of Nathaniel Mowry and Joanna Inman, was born about 1675. The family settled at Smithfield, Rhode Island where Joseph built there home in 1708. [3]
Her husband Joseph's will was written at Smithfield on May 19, 1746, appointing son Joseph sole executor. Joseph was to care for his mother Alce during her natural life. He left bequest to:
Waite Mowry, born June 6, 1716; married Israel Arnold. [3]
