Biography

Charles was born in 1845. He is the son of Henry White and Eve Gardener. [1]

In 1851 Charles (6) born Haselbury is living with his perents Eve (28) weaver born Haselbury and Henry (30) shepherd born Haselbury and siblings Adam (4) born Haselbury and Sam (1) born West Chinnock. [2]

In 1861 the family lived at 11 Higher Street, West Chinnock. In the house are Henry White (40) Shepherd born in Nottingham Dorset (this may be an error), Eve (37) born Hazelbury Plucknett, and their chiildren Charles (16) born West Chinnock, agricultural labourer, Adam (13) born West Chinnock, agricultural labourer, Sam (10) born Middle Chinnock agricultural labourer, James (7) born Curry Rival agricultural labourer, and Maria (6) born in Merriott, Henry (3) born Merriott and George (10 months) born West Chinnock.
