Biography
Sarah Jane White was born in Bilboa, County Carlow in 1904. She was the fourth and youngest child of Edward White and Mary Jane White (née Agar).
Sarah Jane had 3 older brothers: James, William and John.
Sarah Jane's mother Mary died in 1909. Her father remarried Rebecca Smyth in 1910. Edward and Rebecca had four children (Sarah's half-siblings): Elizabeth, Rebecca, Eileen, and Edward.
At the time of the 1911 Census, Sarah Jane was 4 yo with her Agar grandparents in Chapelstown, Carlow, while her brothers, father and stepmother were living at Clogrennan, Queen's County (County Laois).
In 1941, Sarah Jane White married Samuel (Sam) Bradley in St Mary's Church, Carlow. Samuel was a farmer, resident at Crettyard, on the border of County Laois and County Kilkenny. Sarah was resident at Brown's Hill, which was the home of her uncle Thomas Agar. The witnesses were Thomas Agar and Richard Bradley.
Sarah and Sam had a number of children including Noel, Mary and Billy.
In 1971, Sarah Bradley was present at the death of her brother John White in County Laois.
Sam died in 1974.
Sarah died in 2000 and is buried with Sam in the CofI cemetery in Bilboa, County Carlow.
