John Whitmore was born in Massachusetts.

John, the fifth son and ninth of ten children of Francis Whitmore and Mary Hall was born on 25 November1754 at Medford, Massachusetts.[1]

Marriage and Children

John married Huldah Crooker, the daughter of Isaiah and Hannah (Harding) Crooker on 12 April 1781 at Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine.[2] They had 13 children born at Bath, Maine:
