Lola (Whitten) Ireland was born in Michigan.

Birth and Parents

Lola, the fourth of five children of Lorenzo Whitten and Martha Seaman was born on 30 August 1878 at Big Rapids, Michigan.^[1]

Marriage and Children

Lola married Wilbur Jesse Ireland (1871-1928), the son of George Monroe and Mary Elizabeth (Sexson) Ireland on 28 May 1902 at Beaver City, Furnace, Nebraska.^[2]They had two children:

1. Raymond W. Ireland (b. 1907; d. 1922)
2. Eunice Mary Ireland (b. 1910; d. aft. 1941) m. Mr. Peffley

Wilbur Jesse Ireland died on 21 April 1928 of nephritis at Tempe, Arizona.^[3]

Death and Burial

Lola Ruth (Whitten) Ireland died on 6 February 1941 in her 93rd year of chronic myocarditis at Phoenix, Arizona.^[4]She is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Scottsbluff, Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska^[5]
