Thomas William Whittle was born on 10 November 1855 in Utah, United States,^[1][2][3] the son of Mary Amelia Whittle and Thomas Levi Whittle.^[1]

He was married to Sariah Fidelia Hendricks.^[1] Their children were:^[1]

Thomas died on 18 August 1924 in Marysville, Idaho.^[1] His remains were interred at Pineview Cemetery in Ashton, Idaho.^[1]
