Biography

Orson J. Wilcox was born in July 1867 at New York, USA.[1] He appeared on the census of 22 July 1870 in the household of his parents, Warren Wilcox and Louisa (Page) Wilcox, at Fairgrove, Dickinson County, Iowa.[2]

He married Rose Fitz, daughter of Jared C. Fitz and Amanda J. (Stotts) Fitz, on 17 June 1888 at Boone County, Iowa. [3] His father had married Rose's mother in 1883.

He was a farmer when he and Rose appeared on the census of 13 June 1900 at Des Moines, Boone County, Iowa. [1]

Orson died in 1947 and was buried at Bass Point Cemetery, Boone, Boone County, Iowa. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of famly members.[4]
