Children: Trijn (died May 13 1726), Willem (Aug 24 1727).

Gerrit Willemsz made profession of faith in the Buurtjeskerk in Andijk on March 10 1709. He lived in Munnikij at the time. In the 1723 membership list, Gerrit Willems and Geert Jans are listed as living in the eastern part of Andijk.

Gerrit is listed with his brother Willem in their father Willem Willemsz Posthumus' will dated May 21 1686. They also appear in their grandfather Pieter Kornelis' will dated Dec 29 1691 and in a reading with their uncles and step-brother in Jan 16 1697.
