When Samuel Williamson was born on 12 May 1850, in New South Wales, Australia, his father, William Williamson, was 32 and his mother, Elizabeth Charters, was 31. He married Elizabeth Feeney in 1883. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 3 daughters. He died on 18 October 1905, in Peak Hill, New South Wales, Australia, at the age of 55.[1]
On Wednesday evening last at the residence of bis sister, Mrs. Hurkett, Springstreet, Forbes, the death occurred of a wellknown resident of the Canowindra district in the person of Mr. Samuel Williamson. -The deceased, who was only 56 years of age, had of late been working at McPhail, and had very recently came to stay with his sister in Forbes. The remains were interred in the Church of England cemetery. The greatest sympathy is expressed for the bereaved family, one of whom is a resident of Calarie.[2]
