Biography

Elizabeth Willson (1751- ) was the daughter of Gabriel Willson Sr. and Elizabeth Lundy and married Samuel Schooley II, son of Samuel Schooley I and Avis Holloway. They were joined in 1770 at the Kingwood Friends Meeting, Quakertown, NJ. In 1785, after having 5 children they moved to the vicinity of Deep Water NC. This is documented in "The Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy", Volume I, pages 791-2. There is also documentation of the birth records for all 9 of their children. The same Volume on page 836 notes this family's move to Mt. Pleasant, VA, in 1802. (Willson 36)
