Biography
Birth and Christening
Zachris was born December 15, 1733, at [[Category:Ockes, Öja (I)|Ockes, in the parish of Öja, Gotland. He was the son of the sheriff Jöns Christiansson Winther and his wife Catharina Zackrisdotter. The christening took place in their home February 2, the following year, and his godparents were Pähr Åkerman and the minister's wife Dorothea Wedeman.[1]
Occupation
Zachris was a kronolänsman, a sheriff for a härad (hundred) appointed by the county governor.
Family
December 27, 1767, Zackris married Maria Anna Hök.[2] but moved to live with her new husband at the farm Ockes in Öja parish. They had one son together.

Dath and Burial
Zackris passed away of old age Marcy 25, 1801, and was buried April 3 in the graveyard.[3]
