Biography

Delbert Lynn was born on 12 February 1911 in Rock township of Pipestone county, Minnesota. He was the son of Delbert Winterfield (1878-1958) and Nellie Lake (1876-1968). He was the fourth child of six. They were all living in Rock in 1920.[1] In 1930, his four older siblings have left home and the family has moved to Woodstock.[2]

According to Aunt June's Journal, he married Dottie in 1933.[3] According to the 1940 census, he was living with his wife, Dorothy, a daughter, age 4, and an infant son in Burke township in Pipestone county in that year. His brother, Percy, is also married with an infant daughter and living next door.[4]

He passed away in Hennepin county, Minnesota on 29 March 1981.[5] His body was buried in Grandview Cemetery in Hopkins township, Hennepin county, Minnesota.[6]
