Biography

Mable Nellie Winterfield was born in Rock township, Pipestone county, Minnesota on 11 January 1914.^[1] She was the daughter of Delbert Winterfield (1878-1958) and Nellie Lake (1876-1968). She was in the home of her parents, along with all five of her siblings, Earl, Oscar, Alta, Delbert Lynn and Percey in Rock township in 1920.^[2]

Mable Nellie did not marry or have children. Her brother, Oscar died of tuberculosis in 1922. She died of tuberculosis^[3] on 27 June 1927 in Slayton, Murray county, Minnesota.^[4] Her body was buried in the family burial plot in the Woodstock Cemetery in Pipestone county, Minnesota.^[5]
