Thomas was born in 1744. He passed away in 1800. First-hand information as remembered by Regina Shamblin, Sunday, February 2, 2014.
Thomas served in the Revolutionary War[1] in Sedgwick's Co, 7th Regiment of the Continental Line and was at the Surrender of Braddock.
He married Content Beach in CT - children included Elisha, David, Nancy, Thomas, Susanna, Matilda, Elizabeth and Samuel Wire
He is buried at West Goshen Cemetery, West Goshen, Litchfield, CT
