Biography

On 25 Jun 1900 at the time of the 1900 US Census, head of household John A. Woodfin (age 46, born Dec 1854 in OR) was employed as a Farmer and living in a farmhouse that he owned free of mortgage in Four Mile, Latah, Idaho with his wife Martha J. Woodfin (age 49, born Mar 1851 in OR); son Walter S. Woodfin (age 19, born Jan 1881 in ID); daughter Itha G. Woodfin (age 15, born Apr 1885 in ID); daughter Dollie A. Woodfin (age 11, born Nov 1889 in ID); daughter Myrtle O. Woodfin (age 7, born Apr 1893 in ID); and daughter Maud M. Woodfin (age 6, born May 1894 in ID). John and Martha had been married for 22 years. Martha had given birth to 6 children, 6 of whom were alive at that time. John's father was born in North Carolina and his mother in Kentucky. Martha's father was born in Indiana and her mother in North Carolina. ^[1]
