Biography

When James Albert Wooley was born on June 3, 1863, in Union, Arkansas, his father, Richard Henry Wooley, was 41 and his mother, Sarah Catherine Hunt, was 41. He married Martha Mattie King on August 7, 1884, in his hometown. They had 11 children in 23 years. He died on May 22, 1929, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 65, and was buried in Strong, Arkansas.
