Biography

Rudolf Christian was born in 1891 and baptised on 10 Apr 1891 in Grosshöchstetten. He was the son of Adolf Wyss and Marianne Schenk. He married his cousin Alma Wyss who was born in Germany. Alma probably arrived in Switzerland shortly before 3 Jan 1923, when her place of residence was registered in Thun. They married on 16 Feb 1923, their first child was born in June 1923. He was a chauffeur his life long, serving in army as chauffeur and working over 40 years for the Handelsmühle Vögeli in Biglen. He passed away in 1974 in Grosshöchstetten, probably in the hospital. He was then buried in Biglen where he lived with his wife.
His Heimatort was Arni in Canton Berne, Switzerland. Arni belonged to the church of Biglen.
