Pinkie Yates is a part of US Black heritage.

Pinkie Yates , daughter of John Yates and Harriet Willis, was born in 1877. In 1908, she married B.F. Henderson.[1] They divorced before 1920. Her second husband was Robert Bridgeman; they also divorced.

She died in 1964[2] and is buried in College Memorial Park Cemetery in Houston, Texas.[3]

Research Notes

Sources vary widely regarding her date of birth. She is listed as being three years old on the 1880 US Census, so that's probably the most likely correct date.
