That being said, some pretty neat things will happen as you enter your pedigree into the system. You may find that some your family has already been profiled here by cousins you never knew you had!
Once your pedigree hooks into the big Tree, you will find you are related to many famous people and probably half of the members on this site. I checked to see how far your pedigree goes back. Once you get hooked into the big tree, your family tree will populate with the contributions that have been made by others.
So please keep working on adding your pedigree and if you get stuck, we are here to help. I profiled about 800 of my family members then the brick walls came down and my connection count soared. That means I have a marriage connection or a blood relative with 2,040 others 7 generations back. But that number increases exponentially each generation further back I go. If I go back 16 generations, I find that I'm cousins with half the members on this site! Pretty neat!
