Who is the father of James Vanderbeek-106 Born Feb. 23, 1813

My 3rd Greatgrandfather was James Vanderbeek, born Feb. 23, 1813 died in 1888 Lived in Englewood NJ. His mother was Mary A Stagg. My family has been asking who is James' Father for nearly 100 years. James Owned a large piece of land in Englewood NJ and was a founding Elder of the Englewood Presbiterian Church. His wife was Margaret Blauvelt and they had 5 Children.

Can anyone help solve this 200 year old mystery?

James Vanderbeek is more common then you would think.

Here is one born in the same year.  Another one was born in 1818.

Thank you for your reply, I do know James Vanderbeek is not uncommon, I have at least 7 in my tree, and I am one of them. This James I know the Birth date is accurate from the death Certificate  I don't know where he was born of if he has any siblings.  His mother was Mary A.. Stagg He owned a large farm in Englewood, NJ.

Do you know if this James Vanderbeek had a middle initial or name.  Also do you know what the "A" stands for as Mary's middle name?

None of my documents have any Middle name or initial for James. The only reference to Mary Stagg in on James' Death Cert.
