This registration thread is closed. Please go to the current one to register.

September 28 - October 1 — the start of Family History Month — is our third annual "Source-a-Thon".

This three-day event is for a good cause (sourced genealogy!) and there will be over $3,000 in door prizes donated from around the genealogy community. It will be lots of fun.

The event will go from Friday, September 28 at 8 AM (ET) to Monday, October 1, 8 AM (ET).  Note: We've changed the start/end time from last year.

I'm answering the call and this will be my first rodeo in Sourcing. I am currently still uploading my own GEDcom Tree information and am deluged with my own profiles and adopted ones needed sources.  Not sure where I really fit.  Lots of work for the Midwest, Tennessee and Maine in my own line.  Willing to work on the files of others if needed.

Well Maine is Nor'Easter area. Acadia tries to take some of it. lol Then you have Tornadoes and Tennessee from what you have stated. Your choice but I'm sure there is room on the boat at Nor'Easters.

It would help if you either log in or let us know what your WikiTree-ID is so they can award you a bib number. Also, any preference for area you want to work might help as far as picking a team. There is a list HERE located about 1/3 of the way down.

If you click HERE and scroll about 1/3 of the way down it lists the teams. Some are non-regional. Most of the regional ones won't insist you only work in their area. I know Nor'Easters doesn't. Washington and California don't really have any regional teams there. So I guess it depends on the area you want to work in and what team you would feel comfortable with. Cute ears on that hat btw.
