Help with Revolutionary war sticker

I am hoping to get some help placing a revolutionary war sticker on the page for William King (King-33465). He served in the 4th NY under Col. Wynkoop and in the 1st NY under various commanders. His record is documented in his pension application, number S29274. He apparently was present for Ticonderoga, Monmouth, and York Town. He served under Benedict Arnold and was stationed at West Point for a bit.
His bio is currently rather light on info, but I'll write more of his fascinating story as time allows. I'm hoping that someone will help with the sticker, as I haven't quite mastered them yet.
Also, someone had posted that they were looking to collect soldiers from the 4th NY. William King could be added to that page, but I also haven't figured that out yet, either...
Thanks!

The strategy I use, and yes I need a strategy, to place military stickers correctly, is to first find the category. Most, if not all, military stickers also add the category to the profile so you don't want your category to turn up red. Most of the military categories have already been created and for that reason if I can't find it, I ask here in G2G. They have done a superb job in the creation of these categories.

The {{1776}} Sticker seems to be a little different than some others that I often use. Here is the link to that project:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:1776#Sticker

The following is from the above link, but illustrates why I recommend that you look for the military category first:

{{1776 Do not change this.
|image=Here you can change the default image to an alternative image.
|startdate=Service start date as dd mmm yyyy.
|enddate=Service end date as dd mmm yyyy
|Branch= Here you add service branch or country.
|units=Here you can list the main units he/she served in separated by ; (semi colons). Please do not use abbreviations.
|unit=This will add the profile to the appropriate unit category. Please do not use abbreviations and no unit smaller than Regiment/Brigade. If Regiment or Brigade is not known, use a higher unit that you do know.
|rank=Enter the rank (Ex. Sergeant) here. Please do not use abbreviations like Sgt.
}}

If the category the sticker creates turns out red check the spelling/punctuation and the parent category to see if it is spelled the same way. If all looks correct, you can create the new category, default text for the category should be listed in the HELP! section of the parent category.

Excellent, Lucy. It took me some tries to figure all that out with 1776 sticker previously. Your 'explainer' with instruction above needs to be on the help page for that sticker (unless it has recently been changed).
I agree with T Stanton.
