Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

I'm sorry, I may have assumed some of the sources I used met the criteria. Many did have primary sources, but I did create some that are based on what I see now might not meet your criteria, "North America, Family Histories, 1500-2000" -This collection contains genealogical research privately published in nearly one thousand family history books. The primary focus is on North American families from the 18th and 19th centuries, especially those with Revolutionary War and Colonial ties. Some European family histories are also included, with emphasis on connections to nobility. Should I remove them or do you?
Thank you, Janice
Such records are fairly broad and not freely available for review but they are part of your research. You can do one of two things place these under a Research Notes heading (two= either side of the heading) which goes in a profile above the source heading, or under a heading Acknowledgement (again two = either end) this heading goes under the Source & reference headings.
Leave a note to explain that the following "North America, Family Histories, 1500-2000" - are privately published as you explained in your message.
Use the research link to explore other sites for sources open sites are preferred so everyone has access. The sourcerers app generates a link to ancestry sources that enables other to see what you see. Check out https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Apps)
Not sure where you are based, but check out the relevant project, and state county pages as most have links that can be used. The pre-1700 page has example profiles for folk to look through. Also, consider signing up for the Orphan Trail as you are assigned a trailblazer to help you. see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:OT2_-_Resources_1500-1699
Hope this helps you. Whatever you don't delete the information, while not open to everyone it remains valuable
We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.

Thank you, sorry about that. Is it ok to add it to my sister's pages since they're living? I assume so, just wanted to confirm. Janice
