Biography

Martha (Appleton) Jacob immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).

Martha Appleton was baptised on April 12, 1620 in Little Waldingfield, Suffolk, England. Her family traveled to New England in the winter of 1636 and they made a home at Ispwich in the Massachusetts Bay Colony.[1] Martha married Richard Jacob;[2] they had eight children together before her death in 1659,[3]
