Biography

Claude was born in Beaubassin, in about 1699. He was the son of Pierre Arseneau and Marie Guérin.[1]

He was listed at age 1 on the 1700 census in Beaubassin.[2]

He married Marguerite dite Magitte Richard, around 1725 in Acadie. [1]

Arsenault-1927 and Arseneau-277 appear to represent the same person because: Similar dates. Same spouse and year of marriage. Same daughter Anne Louise. Merging into Arseneau which is the standard spelling per Acadians project guidelines https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Acadian_Standard_Names
