Biography

Mary Avery, born 3 Dec 1707 at Groton, Connecticut, was the third child of Elizabeth (Bill) Avery (bef.1691-abt.1724) and Jonathan Avery (1681-1741).

She married 11 Mar 1730 @ Groton, Connecticut, Josiah Haines [b. 8 Jan 1699 @ Preston, CT, son of Josiah & Elizabeth (Lambert) Haines]. They had at least 3 children, baptized at First Church of Groton:

1. Joshua Haines, b. 31 dec 1731; baptized 9 Jun 1734
2. Amy Haines, baptized 13 Jun 1736
3. Huldah (Haynes) Eaton (1746-1816)
