I have been looking at my family tree, on a part-time basis, for about a year now. Different companies yield somewhat different results, but a rough estimate of my DNA and countries of origin:
23%- Eastern Europe and Russia (specifically: Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Russia)
20% England, France and Wales
16%- Ireland
15% Italy (7% northern Italy and 8% southern Italy)
8% Balkans
7% Germany
4% Norway
3% Scotland
2% Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia
2% Aegean Islands (Greece)
I still have large gaps in my family tree. If you are a DNA match and/or have information about my lines, please contact me!
Surnames that I am interested in learning more about in order to advance my tree include: Ellis, Comer, Steel, Coffin, Kent, Dewitt, Perry, Burns, Henderson, Bachman, Ferrari, Molesevich, Andrusko, Pristosh and Yazembiak.
