Biography

CAUTION 2021-02-05: At present, this profile conflates the children of G. W. Beebe of this profile with the children of William R. Beebe (1837-1899) (see the LDS membership section). Initial steps have been taken to untangle this conflation, but this biography is seriously incorrect and no effort has (yet) been made to correct the errors.

George W. Beebe was born in the state of Indiana September 11, 1840, and passed away October 7, 1823 (sic), aged 83 years and 26 days. He was married to Abigal Pluckett April 1, 1866, in tht (sic) state of Iowa. To this union ten children were born, seven boys and three girls. He enlisted in Co. E Vol. Inf. Iowo (sic), and served in the Civil war (sic) until June 5, 1865, when he was mustered out. He leaves to mourn him, his dear companion of 57 years, 9 children, 36 grandchildren, 25 great grand children, with a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted by Elder Parsons of Independence, Mo., a brother Elder of the Latter Day Saints Church of which the deceased had been a faithful member and Elder for many years.

Hi Barbara

Thanks for your message.

I couldn't see what was wrong at first either.

You have Later-Day, there needs to be two Ts as in Latter-Day. Adding that second T should fix it,
