Marguerite was born on 2 March 1710, at which time she received a house baptism. She received a supplemental baptismal ceremony on 1 April 1710 in Trois-Rivières. She was the daughter of Gabriel Benoist and Marie Roussel.[1] She married Jean Precour on 19 November 1736 in La-Baie-du-Febvre.[2]
