Biography
Luc Benoit was born at St. George's Aug 1848. His parents, Luc and Helene, lived there briefly after their arrival from Margaree. Luc was their first child born in Nfld. He would marry and settle in Stephenville[1].
Luc married Mary Catherine Louvelle/Duval Nov 3 1874. He married Catherine Aucoin b Dec 8 1861 d/o Tassien and Marguerite LeBlanc. Luc died Jun 5 1935. Catherine died Stephenville May 14 1939.
