Biography

Anna Brewer was the daughter of Jackson Brewer and Mary Johnson Brewer, born in August of 1880. She married John Thomas Smith in 1905. She was the mother of Delbert, Della, and Elmer Smith. She passed away in 1910, shortly after the birth of Elmer, like so many other women who died in child birth. The doctor who filled out the death certificate supposedly did not know the parents or where she was born, but wrote in Pulaski. However, Jannie was born in Iron County. She is buried beside John at Hyatt Creek Cemetery. Her father and other family members are buried there.

Brewer-6027 and Brewer-4198 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicates. Same father and mother, same siblings, same birth date and location. Brewer-6027 has no sources to document the facts. Brewer-4198 has a source to document the fact about the person.

I added the parents Andrew Jackson Brewer (1842 - 1903) and Mary Ann (Johnson) Brewer (1842 - 1920) back to the profile of Anna Jane (Brewer) Smith (1880 - 1910). From my research, they should not be removed until someone comes up with a source documenting they are not the correct parents.

I added the missing reference tag back under sources <references /> this should never be removed. I reformatted and added the information contained in the two sources under the biography for Anna Jane (Brewer) Smith to meet WikiTrees style and standards for sourcing.

It shows in the 1900 census record that her father and mother are Jackson Brewer and Mary Brewer.
