c. 1780 - Adam Broyles moves his family from Culpeper Co., Va., to western North Carolina (now Tennessee). It was at about this time that Milla married.

19 May 1782 - Milla Panther is mentioned in her father Adam's will. She inherits 200 acres he had bought from George Doherty. Washington Co., N.C.[2] This reference gives her name as Panther, but her husband's name is probably Painter or perhaps Prather.

1800 - Several undocumented online sources give her death date as 1800 and the location as Virginia.

I believe "Big" Adam Painter b. 1734 did not marry Elizabeth "Betsy" Bowman. She was born and died in Shenandoah, VA. Her children were born there as well. We know "Big" Adam was in the Horse Creek, Greene, TN area by 1792 when he bought property from Sam Sedusky. Therefore, Demilla probably lived longer than when Elizabeth "Betsy" Bowman was married in 1802.
