Starting genealogy in 1980, I was a charter subscriber of the Bushong Bulletin which really helped a lot and I was able to publish my first Bushong book, A Branch In the Bushong Tree, in 1989 (now out of print).
Following my book, I shelved genealogy until 2010 when I retired and after that, was able to dedicate more time. Finding a maze of so many Bushongs, I began trying to identify everyone I found, eventually charting the entire tree of the Colonial Bushong descendants -all the Bushongs: from FindaGrave, the 1930 and 1940 U.S. Censuses. The results illustrated how virtually every Bushong and Bushong descendant is descended from the immigrants, Hans John Bushong IV and his brother, Johann Nicholas Bushong, through their grandfather, Hans John Bushong III.
Later after charting every credible IGI listing for Boschungs in Germany and Switzerland, I could show the ancestors of the Colonial Bushongs through Germany and then from Switzerland. This was later confirmed in communications with German genealogist and author, Deitmer Meyer, who lives in the small town of Schmalenberg, Südwestpfalz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. That is where Nicholas was married and he and Magdalena had six of their seven children. Since then I have collected copies of numerous original church records from Germany, Switzerland, and even the Netherlands, including the 1717 baptism of Andreas Boschung (Andrew Bushong), also in Schmalenberg.
Now, I've pretty well completed the Bushong Heritage puzzle, and I've published it in digital fashion on my website, Bushong United.
I have just completed a new book about the Bushong family, based on my website, it goes back to 1575 and is now available on Bushong United or from Lulu.com.
If you're interested in Bushong genealogy, I've built the world's largest Bushong database, which is available to all. See these links:

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.

Like you, I have studied this extensively. And I find some insurmountable obstacles in your thesis which I will elaborate on. But first:
Below, at the bottom, I have copied what is believed to be a full transcription from of Bible of Mrs John Owens. You will see that Henry and Issabel had only six children listed and no Issabel. Also their last child was born in 1805 but the information in the Bible continues on years after our Issabel's birth.
Also Issabel Bushong Adams has no known middle name. Any Issabel "S" references are to Henry's wife.
But more importantly, Henry never left Kentucky after migrating there with his father, Andrew. But John and Jacob did and lived in Ross County with Jacob moving before 1830 to Pickaway County. It is not reasonable to believe that a 21-year-old woman would travel hundreds of miles without her parents in 1831 from Kentucky to Ohio to get married.
However William Franklin Adams was born in Ohio. And in the 1830 Census, Jacob and family are living in Pickaway County, so what is more likely? Issabel was by herself in 1831 or living with her family, Jacob and Jane? How would Issabel and William meet if she was living in Kentucky and he was living in Ohio? They were the only Bushongs in Pickaway at the time. The Bushongs lived in Pickaway County, for several years, along with Issabel and William who began their family there.
Then Jacob and family moved to Indiana, and though Jacob died sometime around then, the 1840 Census finds William Franklin living in the same area as Jacob's children and in the same household (or next door) to one of them.
Issabel was in Indiana because of her family, the Jacob Bushong family.
Further, Issabel and William named their first child Margaret "Jane" after her mother. They also named a son Jacob Bushong Adams, after, of course, her father.
So in closing, please consider 1. Issabel was married in Pickaway County, where her father, Jacob, and family were all living for the 1830 census. 2. Issabel and William followed the Jacob Bushong family to Indiana before moving on to Illinois. 3. Henry was in Kentucky and never in Ohio (including the 1830 Census). 4. Issabel's middle name is not Summers.
