Congratulations, you've been a member for a month!
Check out Beyond the Basics of WikiTree for a guide on some of our more advanced features such as Projects, Categories, Merging, Templates and Volunteer Opportunities!
We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.
Try our Relationship Finder! It searches 20 generations. If you find a duplicate profile, the other managers are probably related. You can use this to find out how!
Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.
How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.
Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.
Hi Roseanne, Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree.
You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.
Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so dont forget to read and sign our Honor Code. This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community. We have many friendly members, feel free to ask if you have any questions.
I am looking forward to finding out more about my ancestors and hopefully a little information about their lives. I am only new to researching my family tree. Just crawling at the moment. I look forward to learning and exploring into the past.
Wikitree Help has a lot of useful
information you might want to review. Or, someone might be able to
point you in the right direction at our
G2G Forum with any questions
you might have.
If you would like to become a full member please read our
Honor Code and then volunteer with a comment.
We will be happy to add you as a full member of the WikiTree
Community.
