Priscilla, the daughter of Aquila Chase and Ann (Wheeler) Chase, was born in Newbury, Massachusetts on March 14, 1648/9.^[1][2][3]

Marriage and Children

Priscilla married Abel Merrill in Newbury on February 10, 1670/1.^[4][5][2][3]

Priscilla and Abel had the following children, all born in Newbury:

Husband's Death and Estate

Priscilla's husband, Abel, died in Newbury on October 28, 1689.^[12] Priscilla was appointed as administrator of his estate on March 25, 1690, with brother-in-law Abram Merrill and brother Aquila Chase posting bond.^[12] On November 1, 1697, Priscilla made an accounting of Abel's estate and it was divided amongst Priscilla and her children (all of whom were still living at the time).^[13]

Death

No record of Priscilla's death or burial has been found. Based on the fact that the last known record of her is dated November 1, 1697 and her last known place of residence was Newbury, Massachusetts, she died sometime after that date, most likely in Newbury.
