Collette-183 and Collet-54 may not be the same person. Collet-54 is definitely my 2nd great grandfather, while Collette183 is not. I know I had proposed this merge; but, think more research should be done first. I just researched both here on WikiTree, and came to these conclusions.
I believe this Joseph Collet is the same as Joseph Collette-183. He is one of my Great Grandfathers, and I have found in my research that the surnames were spelled many different ways. The more recent spelling is Collette; however, the earlier spellingis Collet.
Thanks,
