Biography

I was born in Pittsburgh Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa, the 4th child and 3rd son of Daniel M. Constable and Carmella M. Molitierno. My father was a musician and used the stage name "Danny Conn". My mother was a stay-at-home mom for the most part, but on occasion she worked in retail sales. My parents were childhood friends growing up in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of East Liberty.

I went to Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pa. from 1976 to 1980. I left Penn State in 1980 and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to accept employment in the Land Surveying industry. Currently I am a Professionally licensed Land Surveyor in the State of Nevada.

In 1986 I met my wife, Denice as we were both working for her father, Kirk Anderson, at ALCA Engineering and Surveying, Inc. On May 20, 1988 we were married in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Wedding Gardens on Sahara Ave (now razed). We have 4 children, all daughters and 4 grandchildren.

Hi!

This is Chris from the Italy Project. As part of the annual project check-in, can you fill in the project survey? This will let us know that you are still interested in the project and which teams you'd like to participate in.

Thanks and have a great day!

Hi Michael

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great!

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?

You may want to add some tags on your page indicating a family name for one tag and a specific location like England or Ireland (or wherever) for another tag and then add other surnames or locations as tags as desired. That way you will be connected to others with the same interest.

Click to http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following to add or remove tags. Be sure to add comments explaining why you're following the tags. Those appear on your profile too.

Thanks!! Dorothy - Volunteer Coordinator

Hi!

Just checking in with a few quick tips:

Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom… They’re “anything pages.”

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out ourBiography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.

Lastly, sometimes you’ll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, please ask!

Shirley Dalton, WikiTree Mentor

I am a 57 year old Professional Land Surveyor and enjoy researching my family tree in my spare time. I don't believe in charging people to see records of public information and want to contribute to this site and it's members any and all information that I have collected over the years as well as compare my data to others' so as to eliminate as many discrepancies as possible in the Tree.

Hi Michael

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?

  • When you confirm your email address, you’ll see a Volunteer option on your profile page. Click that and leave us a short message about your genealogical interests. A Greeters Project volunteer will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here. Dorothy

Hi I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. That's awesome. Our GEDCOM process is a bit different than what you might be used to on other sites. We have some great help pages to make your experience go more smoothly:

Upload vs Import

What is GEDCompare

Before Importing a GEDCOM

After importing a GEDCOM

If you have any questions about your GEDCOM or our process you can contact our GEDCOM Manager for assistance.

Thanks!
