Biography

Sarah Cook, daughter of Richard, married Feb. 20, 1707/8, John Andrews. [1] John, the son of John and Judith (Belcher) Andrews, was born at Ipswich, MA. [2]

Sarah died May 17, 1724. [1] [2]

After her death, John married second on Sept. 30, 1724, Ruth Gates, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Freeman) Gates, who had lived in Stow, Marlborough, and Sudbury, MA and had removed to Preston about 1703. (p. 105-6) [2]

John died at Preston, CT about 1750. [2]

Children

John, born Apr. 18, 1710 [1] ; married on Dec.10, 1730, Abigail Richards who was baptized at Preston, July 1, 1711, daughter of John and Abigail (Woodward) Richards. (p. 110). [2]

Sarah, born Jan. 9, 1712/13 [1]; died Aug. 16, 1788; married on Dec. 10, 1733, Samuel Palmer who was born at Rowley, MA on Nov. 20, 1712 and died at Norwich May 21, 1761. (p. 106)[2]

Jane, born June 26, 1716 [1] died Mar, 21, 1803; married on Jan. 10, 1733/4, Josiah Corning, who was born at Beverly, MA on Nov.15, 1709 and died at Norwich, Feb. 26, 1760, son of Joseph and Rebecca (Woodbury) Corning. (p. 107) [2]

Grace, baptized at Preston, CT on Sept. 27, 1718. [3] (p. 107) [2]

Thankful, born Sept. 20, 1719 [1]; married on Sept. 16, 1740, Joseph Read 3rd, who was born at Norwich, May 23, 1709, son of Joseph and Mary Read. (p. 107) [2]

Joseph, born June 26, 1722 [1]; died about 1798; wife unknown, but had 4 children. (p. 110). [2]

I do not think Sarah Cook is the daughter of Richard and born in Stonington. I found this record of a daughter of Richard Cook of Stonington in 1679:
