• 1682 Nov 4 Jean Mesurolle, Jr., young man from Manheim in the Pflaz, residing under Bushwick, with Marritje Teunis Couvers, young lady from Brooklyn, residing at Bedford, and married the 26th of said month at Brooklyn. ^[2]

• Marriage entry in Flatbush RDC Book 72 ^[3]

Wortman is also seen as Workman. Find a Grave shows her surname as Woertman, however her mother is shown as Phebe Sales Buys 1626-1666.
