- About the above Will: Is this Johanna Davis? Was she married previously before Ephraim Pennington? Did she marry after Ephraim died in 1772? There is a Samuel Davis who witnessed this will. Are some of these Haggarthey's son-in-laws or dau-in-laws? I'm still working on this lead. mgpitts

The PRA has record of Joannah Davis' son Benajah Pennington 1724 – 1792, married on 1743 in Wilkes Co., NC to an Elizabeth Humphries 1720 – 1780, Elizabeth's parents are listed as Unknown Humphreys 1700 – and Johanna Davis 1693 – . If this is the Johanna Davis, then that means Benajah married his half sister or step sister. This doesn't make any sense. mgpitts

Davis-53826 and Davis-6152 do not represent the same person because: Look on the research notes of Davis-6152, the PRA has been trying to get the truth about this couple and their children for years. Lots of things wrong here. No your fault and not mine.
