Donn Devine, a Wilmigton, Delaware, genealogist for over 35 years, holds the Certified Genealogist credential and is a Fellow of the National Genealogical Society, From 1987 to 2012 he also held Certified Genealogical Instructor and Lecturer credentials. His research, reflecting both documentary and genetic (DNA) evidence and published in major peer-reviewed journals, has extended to Devines from Conwal Parish, County Donegal, Baldwins from Oxfordshire to colonial Chester County, Pennsylvania; de Riviere/De Revere, Drake, Freer, Van Tassel and Wessels families of early New York; Osborns of Connecticut; more recent McDermots and McGoverns from Countes Tyrone and Londonderry in Ireland; and Ashkenazi Falk and Dressner families from Westphalia and Baden in Germany.
