Biography

It is related that in a storm on the 8th Feb, 1689-90, Edward Doty, with his son John and Elkanah Watson, another resident of Plymouth were drowned in Plymouth harbor or perhaps more properly by the wreck of the vessel in attempting to enter the harbor.

John was drowned in the harbor with his father Feb 8, 1689/90 [1]
