They were on the 1752 La Roque census at Grande Ascension, Isle Saint-Jean. [3]
They were deported from Isle Saint-Jean in 1758 and disembarked at Saint-Malo from one of the five ships. [1][4]
He passed away in October 1760 and was buried on 23 October 1760 in St. Suliac, Bretagne, (present-day Ille-et-Vilaine), France. [2]

Ambroise DUGAST, born about 1728, a ploughman, married about 1750 to Marguerite HENRY (no parents given for either); four children listed. In 1752 He and wife and son were residents of Grande-Ascension on Isle St. Jean. On 23 Jan 1759 he and wife and two sons disembarked at St. Malo from one of the "Five ships." They resided at St. Suliac from 1759-1760. His wife died on 6 Mar 1759, and he died at the age of 32 years; buried on 23 Oct 1760 at St. Suliac, Ille-et-Vilaine, France. Their son Ambroise went to live with Alexis DUGAST [his uncle].

François Henry, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 36 years, he has been in the country 13 months. Married to Marie Dugast, native of l'Acadie, aged 30 years.
They have two sons and three daughters:-
Basille Henry, aged 11 years.
Joseph, aged 9 years.
Margueritte Joseph, aged 7 years.
Elizabeth, aged 4 years.
Victoire, aged 18 months.
And in stock, three oxen, two cows, four heifers, three ewes, one sow, three pigs, and ten fowls.
The land upon which they are settled is situated as in the preceding cases. It was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. On it they have made a clearing for the sowing of two bushels on wheat in the coming spring.
